Please note that when you purchase a code, it must be for exactly the same region as the region you have registered your PlayStation account in.

What's the difference between PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now?

  • PlayStation Plus: Nowadays you can hardly do without it. With a PlayStation Plus subscription, you join a worldwide community of players. Discover new game options and receive popular PlayStation games for free every month. You need a PlayStation Plus subscription for almost every game on the PlayStation to access multiplayer and online gaming. You do not need a PlayStation Plus subscription only for campaigns.
  • PlayStation Now: Access more than 700 different games with a PlayStation Now subscription. You can stream PS4, PS3 and PS2 games directly to your PlayStation console or your PC. You can also download hundreds of PS4 games and then play them on your PS4 console. With a PlayStation Now subscription, you do not receive access to multiplayer and online gaming.

Code redemption via PlayStation console

  • Click PlayStation Store on the home screen of your PlayStation.
  • Scroll down the menu bar on the left and click Redeem Codes.
  • Enter the code and click Continue.
  • Your code has been successfully redeemed.

Code redemption via computer

  • Go to the PlayStation website.
  • Log in with your PlayStation account credentials.
  • Click on your account avatar at the top right.
  • Click Redeem Codes.
  • Enter the code and click Next.
  • Your code has been successfully redeemed.

The following applies for both redemption options: When you activate a PlayStation Plus subscription or PlayStation Network Card, it will be automatically added to your account. When you activate a game, you will find it in your Library (on the far right of the PlayStation home screen).

Error messages / error codes

For all your questions regarding error messages / error codes, we kindly request you to view this PlayStation page. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we can under no circumstances offer you help in finding out the meaning of certain error messages / error codes.

Do you get an error message that your code has already been used? As soon as we have received the payment, your code will be activated and delivered immediately. This makes it technically impossible that your code has already been used.

In case you do get the message that the code has already been redeemed, maybe the steps below can solve this issue:

  • Make sure that you have redeemed the code on the correct account (for example, you redeemed the code on account A while logged in with account B).
  • Check the transaction history of the account where you redeemed the code.
  • Restart the device and log in again. This ensures that your credit is updated.
